The girls were abducted from their school in 2014 and have been with the terrorists since then. A masked terrorist was seen walking in front of them and demanded that the federal government release their fighters who were apprehended by security operatives in exchange for the girls. While some claimed the video and the reported abduction of the girls was a scam, others argued that there was undisputable evidence that showed the girls were indeed abducted.
